Individual Therapy
Are you having a difficult time handling the struggles in your life?
Could you use a non-judgmental ear just to listen?
Are you hesitant to talk to others about your problems?
If you’ve been feeling hopeless or lost lately, or struggling with a problem in your life that feels unsurmountable, individual therapy could help you improve your everyday life. You do not have to continue feeling the way you do. Let’s grow from this together, shooting forward into a positive, more hopeful future.
So if any of these sound like you…
- You keep worrying about the same problem over and over
- You wish there was somebody who could tell you why you feel this way
- Other areas of your life are being negatively impacted by your struggle
- You need somebody to listen to you and your feelings for once
- You wish you could communicate better how you feel to others
- You have a hard time effectively asserting yourself
Then individual therapy may be right for you.
I have experience working with individuals with different kinds of mental health disorders and a wide variety of issues like suffering from an eating disorder, struggling to assert themselves, nervous to start a new career path, have a history of trauma, struggle with social anxiety, have a low self-esteem, or a history of depression, as well as many other disorders/issues.
When I work with individuals, I utilize a variety of theoretical models to treat problems. I use techniques in treatment from cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered psychodynamic therapy and emotion focused therapy. I take a systemic perspective when working with a client in order to achieve success in treatment, assessing an individual’s entire history, their childhood, parents backgrounds, school experience and community involvement.
